  • Arapahoe Philharmonic Orchestra <Arapahoe-Phil.org> - The Arapahoe Philharmonic was founded in 1953 as the Englewood Symphony, the orchestra grew and evolved to become the Community Arts Symphonyand finally, the Arapahoe Philharmonic.  The AP is a semi-professional orchestra of 90 auditioned and professionally trained musicions.  The season includes a subscription series, Children's concerts and free summer parks concert.  The Arapahoe Philharmonic sponsors the Arapahoe Philharmonic Youth Symphonies (APYO) which consists of 150 middle- and high-school age music students from the Denver metro area.

  • Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra <LoneTreeSymphony.org> -
    statement: founded in September 2000 by Joan Nelson Pauls, oboist and English hornist.  The symphony is composed of all volunteers and the concerts are free to the public. The symphony especially likes to welcome families with children. Children are invited to visit with the musicians at intermission at concerts to learn more about how our instruments work.  Concerts are held in October, December, March and May and are at the Cornerstone Baptist Church at the SW corner of Lone Tree Parkway and Lincoln Avenue in Douglas County.
